About Repair Geek LLC

Useful help, with the boundaries made clear.

Repair Geek is a Minnesota-based digital studio and support service. We build websites, hosting, apps and games, and help customers organize the next step when computers, appliances, property or vehicles need repair.

Our commitments

What customers can expect.

01

No surprise activation

A support request creates a pending enrollment, not an immediate charge. The support level, recurring price and availability are confirmed before activation.

02

Consent before referral

A proposed provider referral lists the exact information Repair Geek wants to share. Nothing is sent through that referral until the customer approves it in the portal.

03

No automatic renewal

Support is purchased one issue at a time. Repair Geek does not create a future monthly charge.

04

Honest service boundaries

Repair Geek provides support and referral assistance. Independent providers remain responsible for estimates, licensing, insurance, workmanship and charges.

Provider safeguards

Referral records support better decisions—not guarantees.

Providers begin in a pending state. An administrator can record categories, coverage area, license information, and the dates license or insurance information was reviewed. Only active providers can be proposed through the portal.

Ask Repair Geek

Private AI-guided troubleshooting is available to verified customer accounts. Answers can be incomplete or wrong and do not replace emergency or licensed professional help.

Chat availability

The customer portal shows whether support staff are currently online. Messages remain available securely if staff are offline.

Phone and video

Customers request a preferred time; the confirmed appointment and video link appear in the portal.

Saved history

Customers can revisit their own Ask Repair Geek conversations. They are not published as public forum posts.

Customer feedback

Portal-submitted, permission-controlled.

Published comments come from customer accounts connected to resolved support cases. Reviews are checked for privacy and abuse before display; customers decide whether public display is allowed.

No public customer feedback yet.

Repair Geek will display feedback here only after a portal customer with a resolved case gives explicit permission.

Frequently asked

Questions worth answering upfront.

Does Repair Geek perform every repair?

No. Repair Geek may provide direct technical guidance, but for many repair categories our role is to help organize the issue and connect the customer with an independent provider.

Does a referral mean Repair Geek guarantees the provider?

No. Provider records help the support team make a more informed referral, but customers should independently confirm current licensing, insurance, estimates and contract terms before hiring.

When does paid support start?

The intake form creates a pending request only. Repair Geek confirms the one-time price, included support and availability before sending an invoice or beginning paid support.

Does support renew automatically?

No. Each purchase covers one support issue. A new issue or additional approved time is a separate purchase.

How is my information protected during a referral?

The portal shows which fields are proposed for sharing. Repair Geek records the customer’s consent before provider contact and limits the referral to the listed fields.

Can Repair Geek guarantee a top Google ranking?

No ethical provider can guarantee a specific organic ranking. Repair Geek can build a strong technical and content foundation, measure results, and improve the site over time.
